Dempsey

pulled from a high kill shelter in South Carolina Jan 15, and flown as a medical emergency to our rehab ranch in Riverside, CA. Dempsey's legs were originally deformed due to rickets. With great nutrition and supplements his legs straightened on their own within a matter of weeks. This darling little pittie was then transferred to Second Chance Animal Rescue in Riverside for placement.

Rosie

a senior newfie/lab mix from a small, caring shelter in Missouri is now spending her golden years with one of our human angels in PA. She suffers from a variety of ailments due to age, but her greatest challenge is mobility. Update: Rosie was helped cross over the bridge late May. Her quality of life was horrible but she knew love in her last months.

Norman

Adopted March 2015. This gorgeous young man was abandoned in a house in Kansas City. He came to us with a multitude of skin issues, but with meds, high quality food and supplements he is on his way to healing. In Norman's new home he will be the emotional support dog for a retired Viet Nam war vet with PTSD.

Harley

Adopted Jan 2015. Darling little 7 year old was a family member surrender when his own family died. This little man came to us with some of the worst eyes I have ever seen. With proper treatment his eyes have become much better, but he will always have sight issues.

Daphne

aAopted 10 - 14. This adorable little senior was on the Knoxville, TN CL. We worked with a local rescue to get this darling angel off that list and into a wonderful home.

Stan and Ollie

Stan and Ollie adopted Sept 2014. These 2 little ones were on CL in Springfield, MO. They are now in a loving, wonderful home being spoiled rotten.

Rufus

Adopted Oct 2014. Pulled from the Sacramento, Cali craigslist. This little man had some medical issues, but with great food and proper medical care he turned into a wonderful little man!

Haley and Howie

haley and howie were free on rescueme.org We worked together with another rescue to get these little ones safely to their new rescue in OK!

Wrigley

Wrigley adopted 7-2014. This little guy was a stray and got lucky. He is now named Jack and he is a very happy little guy!

Bindi

Bindi was free on CL from a breeder in Topeka, KS. She was deaf and blind, therefore not any good to the breeder. This darling little angel was transferred to a doxie rescue where she has flourished!

Remy

Remy pulled from the streets of Tijuana, Mexico in June of 2014 He was with us for 3 months while he battled tick borne diseases. With proper vet care he flourished and was transferred to a working dog program in northern Cali where he went thru training and was adopted to a fantastic family.

Jazz

Jazz was plucked from the hands of an abuser April 2014 in Wichita, KS. A plea for help was posted on Craigslist and we responded. This darling little man was brought to Topeka HQ and then transferred to a small breed rescue in Nebraska where he found a wonderful home.

Walker

In April 2014 we received a call about a darling little boy in a high kill shelter in southern Cali. With his deformities, he didn't stand a chance so we jumped into action. Walker was vetted and then transfered to a program where he became a therapy dog for individuals with disabilities.

Bindi

Bindi was listed on a Springfield, MO craigslist in Feb of 2014. We managed to bring her into safety and out of the breeding cycle. She was a joint rescue effort with our pug partner in OKC.

Bella

Bella was a 15 year old little girl found wandering on a 4 lane highway in SoCal. She spent her last few months with us at the rehab ranch where she knew love and happiness. Godspeed little angel.

Angel

Angel was a tiny deaf husky pup in a high kill shelter in SoCal. We stepped in to make sure she had a chance. This little darling was adopted in February 2015

Hope

Adopted in January 2015, little Miss Hope finally found her furever home. This tiny little girl only has stubs for front legs. She is now working with handi-capable children.

Sadie and Smokey

Sadie and Smokey were both listed on CL and we were there to pull them off and out of the breeding cycle. Both of these little darlings were adopted early 2015 and are now traveling the road in a luxury big rig with their parents!

Pluto

Pluto, a darling little 4 month old pittie puppy found hanging around a gas station in Anaheim in February. He was rescued by one of our very own volunteers and is now a permanent member of her family.

Milo

Milo was pulled off a Sacramento, Ca CL in the fall of 2014. This little dude was a class clown and an absolute angel. He suffered from a deformed jaw due to genetics, but this didn't stop him from being adopted by a wonderful family in January of 2015

Runi

Miss Runi was pulled off Cl in May of 2014. This little deaf boston puppy was a tiny tornado while she hung out with us. She only spent a few days here and then headed to her permanent rescue in South Carolina. She has since been adopted and is still a little tornado !

Jax

Jax adopted 10-14. Owner surrender due to financial problems. He is a happy, well loved little boy now.

Maggie

Maggie adopted June 2014. She was $20 on the Clinton, MO craigslist. Now she is a much loved and cherished family member

Cowboy

Cowboy was born with no front legs, but he has not let that stop him he is currently happy and loved with his new family

Moochie is deaf and blind, he is 18 years old and was officially adopted by his foster mom.

Izadora (Izzi)

Izzi was a Craigslist baby being rehomed due to a divorce. This darling little 16 week old was involved in a freak accident with a car. The vet tried to save her leg, but couldn't. Being a tripod has no affect on her life..she doesn't know she is different. Dogs are amazing like this! This little angel will be available for adoption after vetting. She is now with her furever family.
