Harlee's Angels

a non-profit 501(c)3 rescue

Harlee's Angels can not survive without its foster parents and other volunteers. Foster parents are loving people who give our dogs a home, get them medical treatment, and, most of all, provide LOVE until a permanent home found. Not everyone is cut out to be a foster parent because you can become emotionally attached. However, other positions are filled with people that care and give what time they can to help these adorable dogs. We also welcome volunteers from neighboring states, especially for pre-adoption home visits and help with transportation.

Some of these positions are:

• Home visits to prospective adopters before the dogs placed

• Home visits to prospective foster parents

• Picking up pugs from the shelter or private individuals and delivering them to foster homes or vet clinics

• Organizing & helping at fundraisers

• Educating the public regarding the importance of rescue

• Follow-up calls on placed dogs

You can be as active or inactive as you wish to be, picking a job to suit the time you have to spare.

If helping our dogs would be of interest to you, please fill out the application below, email the application to the correct Division Director listed under Divisions. You will be contacted by one of our volunteers within a few days.

Foster Volunteer

When an individual becomes a foster, we have a guideline of “rules” called the foster contract. These guidelines are in place for the dog's safety, fosters protection, and rescues protection. Harlee’s Angels expect the “rules” followed at all times. As adults, you are responsible for your choices and actions. If a mistake made, the division director will counsel and help fosters work towards success.

Please read the foster contract. If you're interested in becoming a foster, fill out the volunteer application as well as the foster contract. The foster contract MUST have your handwritten signature, dated and returned via mail to the correct Division Director. No exceptions made. We will no longer allow a dog placed in a foster home without the paperwork received.
